Blackman Avenue, Hastings - Kerbing & Carriageway Resurfacing

What works are taking place?

We will be carrying out kerbing and carriageway resurfacing works on Blackman Avenue, Hastings.

When will these works start?

Kerbing

The kerbing works will start on Monday 10th February and continue for 1 week. During this time, the road will remain open with temporary traffic lights in place. The lights will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm.

Resurfacing

Phase One - 2nd March 2020 for 4 nights. Resurfacing at the junction of Marline Road. Road closed 7pm-6am each night.

Phase Two - 9th March 2020 for 4 weeks

Resurfacing from south of Marline Road junction to south of Redgeland Rise. Road closed to through traffic 24 hours a day from Battle Road to Gillsmans Hill. Access for residents will be maintained.

Diversion

During the resurfacing, traffic will be diverted via Battle Road, A2100 The Ridge West, Queensway, Crowhurst Road and vice versa.
