What works are taking place?
We will be carrying out drainage works on Crowborough Hill, Crowborough between Coller Mews and Victoria Road.
When will these works start?
Work will take place between 31 October and 16 December.
Road closure information
31 October – 11 November
There will be a night time closure in pace for the first two weeks. This section of Crowborough Hill will be closed between 8pm and 4am each night (no weekend working).
5th December – 10th December
There will be night closures in place during this week. This section of Crowborough Hill will be closed between 8pm and 4am each night.
31 October – 16 December
The road will remain open during the day with temporary traffic lights in place 24 hours (except when the road is closed – see above). Should opportunities to remove the lights present themselves, they shall be temporarily removed.
Diversion
During the night time road closure, traffic will be diverted via Western Road, Fermor Road, Hurtis Hill, Sheep Plain, A26, High Street, Crowborough Hill and vice versa.
