Riders Bolt, Bexhill - Micro Asphalt Surfacing
What works are taking place?
We will be carrying out micro asphalt surfacing works on Riders Bolt, Bexhill.
Micro asphalt is a thin surfacing that is mixed in a lorry and laid on top of the existing road surface.
Micro asphalt seals and waterproofs the road and improves the skid resistance and ride quality, extending the life of the road by up 10 years.
We will return around two weeks after the micro-asphalt has been laid to raise any iron work that is low and reinstate any lining.
When will these works start?
Work will take place on 27 & 28 July between 7am and 7pm each day.
If it rains or is either too hot (temperatures over around 30°C) or too cold (temperatures below around 10°C) then we will not be able to carry out the work. We will reschedule these and let you know via the signs on site as to when the works will happen.
Road closure information
During this time, Riders Bolt will be closed.
