What works are taking place?
We will be carrying out targeted patch repairs on Tidebrook Road, Wadhurst
When will these works start?
Work will start on Monday 10th February 2020 and continue for until Tuesday 24th March 2020.
Road closure information
We will be working on patches between Pennybridge Lane and Riseden Road.
The section marked black on the map will initially be missed due to structural repairs being required on a retaining wall. We will return in April to carry out interim repairs to this section.
Tidebrook Road will be closed to through traffic each day between 7am and 7pm from the B2100 to Fletching Street.
Traffic will be diverted via B2100, A267, Tunbridge Wells Road, Fletching Street and vice versa.
Information for local people
Vehicle access: The road will be closed to through traffic. This is for your safety and the safety of our workers. If you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site. We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Weather: If it rains, we might be delayed in our works. We will keep you updated with any changes via advance warning signs.
Parking: Please park your vehicle off road or in another location, otherwise your vehicle may be towed away. There will be ‘no parking’ signs and cones on site to advise where parking is restricted.
Buses: We apologise if our works cause disruption to your bus service. Please check with the bus company for any alterations to the service during this time.
Bin Collections: We have informed your local council about these works. Your local District or Borough Council will let you know if there are any changes to your collection.
