What works are taking place?

We will be carrying out Surface Dressing works on B2089 Udimore Road, Udimore & Brede.

Prior to the surface dressing work, we will be removing the road studs and carrying out patching works. This will take place from 14th to 18th June 2021. On 14th, 15th & 16th June, the road will be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day. On 17th & 18th June, the road will be closed to through traffic between 7am & 7pm.

When will these works start?

The surface dressing work is scheduled to take place on the Udimore & Brede sections on Thursday 24th June 2021 between 7pm & 11.59pm.

After the surface dressing works, we will need to reinstate the lining and cats eyes. This will take place on 12th, 13th & 14th July 2021 between 7pm & 5am.

Road closure information

During each element of the works the road will be closed to through traffic between A28 Northiam Road & A268 Station Approach.

If you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site. We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
