Surface Dressing - Provisional date 27/08/19
We will be carrying out carriageway patching works on Batts Bridge Road, Maresfield.
Work will start on Tuesday 20th August 2019 and continue for 3 days.
We will be returning to carry out surface dressing works shortly after the patching works. Surface Dressing works are weather dependent so we are unable to advise of a precise date until 48 hours before works start. We will notify you of precise dates via the advanced warning signs on site.
Batts Bridge Road will be closed to through traffic between 9am and 3.30pm from Batts Bridge Roundabout to the mini roundabout at Straight Half Mile.
Traffic will be diverted via A22 Maresfield Bypass, Straight Half Mile, and vice versa.
Vehicle access: The road will be closed to through traffic. This is for your safety and the safety of our workers. If you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site. We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Weather: If it rains, we might be delayed in our works. We will keep you updated with any changes via advance warning signs.
Parking: Please park your vehicle off road or in another location, otherwise your vehicle may be towed away. There will be ‘no parking’ signs and cones on site to advise where parking is restricted.
Buses: We apologise if our works cause disruption to your bus service. Please check with the bus company for any alterations to the service during this time.
Bin Collections: We have informed your local council about these works. Your local District or Borough Council will let you know if there are any changes to your collection.
