Belgrave Road, Seaford - Crossing Works

What works are taking place?

Following completion of the works to install the new zebra crossing on Belgrave Road, Seaford, a construction review has been carried out in which a few items have been identified as needing addressing.

The works include:

- New uncontrolled pedestrian crossing (tactile paving and dropped kerb) on Kingsmead.

- The existing zig-zags on north east of zebra crossing and centre road markings will be extended on Belgrave Road.

- New signing.

- The existing hedging on the east side corner of Kingsmead and Belgrave Road will be cut back.

When will these works start?

Work will start on Tuesday 27th August 2019 and continue for 1 week.

Traffic Management

Belgrave Road will remain open with temporary traffic lights in operation.

Information for local people

Weather: If it rains, we might be delayed in our works. We will keep you updated with any changes via advance warning signs.

Parking: There will be ‘no parking’ signs and cones on site to advise where parking is restricted.

Buses: We apologise if our works cause disruption to your bus service. Please check with the bus company for any alterations to the service during this time.
