What works are taking place?

We will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on Crowborough Hill, Crowborough.

When will these works start?

Work will start on Thursday 6th June 2019 and continue for 1 night.

We will also be carrying out kerbing and ironworks between 28th May and 7th June under temporary traffic lights.

Road closure information

Crowborough Hill will be closed to through traffic between 7pm and 6am from Beeches Road to Green Lane.

Green Lane will also be closed from Crowborough Hill to Hillrise.

Crowborough Hill closure: Traffic diverted via B2100 Rotherfield Rd, B2100 Church Rd, B2100 High St, B2101 High St, B2101 Mayfield Rd, B2101 High Cross, A267 Tunbridge Wells Rd, A267 Mayfield Rd, A267 Tunbridge Wells Rd, A267 Mayfield Rd, A267 Frant Green Rd, Bunny Lane, A26 & vice versa

Green Lane closure: Traffic diverted via Green Lane, A26 & vice versa.

Information for local people

Vehicle access: The road will be closed to through traffic. This is for your safety and the safety of our workers. If you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site. We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Weather: If it rains, we might be delayed in our works. We will keep you updated with any changes via advance warning signs.

Parking: Please park your vehicle off road or in another location, otherwise your vehicle may be towed away. There will be ‘no parking’ signs and cones on site to advise where parking is restricted.

Buses: We apologise if our works cause disruption to your bus service. Please check with the bus company for any alterations to the service during this time.
